Stevie Ray Vaughan Biografia

È stato uno dei più grandi esponenti della chitarra blues americana. Benché durante la sua breve vita abbia pubblicato solo quattro album in studio e uno live, è noto come sia uno dei musicisti più dotati e influenti del suo genere. Nel 2003, la rivista Rolling Stone mette Stevie Ray Vaughan al #7 posto nella lista 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, e Classic Rock Magazine lo mette a #3 posto nella loro lista dei 100 Wildest Guitar Heroes del 2007. La storia Nasce a Dallas da Jim e Martha Vaughan, ma si trasferisce in giovane età ad Austin, Texas. Inizia sin da piccolo a suonare la chitarra, seguendo le orme del fratello maggiore Jimmie (anche lui rinomato musicista, futuro chitarrista dei Fabulous Thunderbids).A 17 anni abbandona la scuola per dedicarsi completamente alla musica.Vaughan è un totale autodidatta, senza alcuna conoscenza della teoria musicale: suona, canta e compone "ad orecchio".
