Gli Steel Pulse sono un gruppo di musica reggae nato in Inghilterra, a Handsworth.Il loro primo LP si chiama Handsworth Revolution. Appartengono al cosiddetto British Reggae, genere di cui fanno parte anche gli Aswad, i Matumbi di Dennis Bovell ed i Capital Letters, tutte band nate negli anni '70 in Inghilterra.
