Parkway Drive Biografia

I Parkway Drive sono una band metalcore australiana proveniente dal New South Wales, precisamente dalla Bryon Bay. Gli inizi (2003 - 2006) I Parkway Drive si formarono nel 2003 e il nome della band deriva dalla strada dove loro provavano nella loro città natale. Poco tempo dopo la loro formazione registrarono insieme ai I Killed the Prom Queen il loro primo Ep, Split. Lo stesso anno segnò l'abbandono del chitarrista Paul Lynch.Nel maggio del 2004 la band andò negli USA per registrare il loro Ep di debutto, Don't Close Your Eyes, con l'aiuto del chitarrista dei Killswitch Engage, Adam Dutkiewicz.Dopo il suo rilascio, i Parkway Drive riuscirono ad avere un bel numerdo di fan in Australia e dintorni, grazie anche all'appoggio di vari gruppi come Hatebreed, In Flames, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Alexisonfire e alla partecipazione al Metal For The Brain 2005 e al Australia's Hardcore 2005. Questa piccola fama permise a loro di suoare insieme agli Epitaph
