Ozric Tentacles Biografia

Ozric Tentacles è il nome di un gruppo musicale strumentale inglese, attivo dal 1984 nell'ambito del rock psichedelico con molte influenze elettroniche. Storia La formazione storica si è formata il 21 giugno 1984 allo Stonehenge Free Festival, durante il quale ne venne coniato il nome, scelto tra una rosa di fantasiosi nomi per un'ipotetica marca di cereali psichedelici per la prima colazione.Per tutti gli anni '80 hanno effettuato un numero pressoché incalcolabile di spettacoli dal vivo, soprattutto nei festival musicali inglesi, durante i quali erano soliti vendere personalmente i loro nastri autoprodotti.La loro prima registrazione ufficialmente distribuita da un'etichetta discografica fu Pungent Effulgent nel 1989. Fino ad allora nessuno dei loro lavori aveva ancora visto la distribuzione ufficiale.L'album successivo, Erpland vedeva la nascita di Erp, un personaggio di fantasia in seguito presente nella maggior parte delle copertine dei lavori del gruppo.Nell'album Stran
