Garbage Biografia

I Garbage (in italiano spazzatura) sono un gruppo internazionale di musica rock, creato a Madison, Wisconsin nel 1994. È composto da Butch Vig, Steve Marker, Duke Erikson, e Shirley Manson.Attualmente la band ha deciso di prendere una pausa dallo stressante ciclo "registrazione disco/tour promozionale". In un messaggio apparso sul loro sito ufficiale il 23 settembre 2005, dichiarano di non essersi sciolti, ma solo di voler passare più tempo con le proprie famiglie.A giugno 2007 è uscito il primo greatest hits intitolato Absolute Garbage, contenente l'inedito "Tell Me Where It Hurts". Storia Vig, che fu tra i collaboratori di molti album, tra cui Nevermind dei Nirvana e Siamese Dream e Gish degli Smashing Pumpkins, decise di voler formare un nuovo gruppo musicale. Chiese quindi agli altri musicisti Marker and Erikson, che suonavano negli Spooner and Firetown, di accoglierlo nella loro formazione.
