E-40 Biografia

Carriera E-40 intraprese la carriera nel rap assieme a suo cugino B-Legit. Si trasferirono a Vallejo e si unirono a D-Shot, il fratello di E-40, per formare la crew Most Valutable Players. Lo zio di E-40 cantante di gospel li aiutò a registrare qualche pezzo. Anche la sorella di E-40, Suga T, venne poi aggiunta alla crew per formare i The Click.Il "40" di E-40 sta a significare 40 once di liquore in bottiglia. La "E" deriva dall'iniziale del nome, Earl. Sua madre gli diede quest'idea.E-40 ha rilasciato dieci cd, includendo anche quelli con i The Click. Ha collaborato anche per la colonna sonora di alcuni film e ha duettato spesso in canzoni di suoi amici. La sua voce distintiva e la consegna rapida di testi sono risultati utili a molte star dell'hip-hop.Dopo aver completato un contratto con la Jive Records firmò con la BME Recordings di Lil Jon e con la Warner Bros.
