Biografia
David Lee Roth divenne cantante a tempo pieno dei Van Halen nella seconda metàdegli anni settanta. Raggiunto l'apice del successo del gruppo con la canzone Jump del 1984, David decide di incidere un EP solista che esce nel 1985, Crazy from the Heat e che ottiene uno strepitoso successo, ma che nel contempo suscita critiche e dissapori all'interno della band che sfociano nell'abbandono del gruppo lo stesso anno. David assolda quindi il bassista Billy Sheehan e il chitarrista Steve Vai e lancia l'anno successivo il suo primo album, Eat 'em and Smile, che rappresenta un altro notevole successo.Dopo gli esiti positivi dei primi due album il successo musicale di Roth cominciò a scemare, sebbene continuasse ad incidere album, mentre la sua popolaritàrimane tuttora a livelli alti per la sua presenza in radio in qualitàdi conduttore.Nel 2007 il suo ritorno con i Van Halen che tutti i fan del gruppo da troppo tempo aspettavano. Dopo la riunione della band e la promessa di un nuovo album, è cominciato il loro tour in USA.
