Country Joe McDonald and The Fish (gruppo spalla), attivo negli anni '60 '70 è passato alla storia per essersi esibito al festival di Woodstock nell'agosto del '69, ormai elevata alla gloria la loro "Song for the Vietnam" considerato ormai manifesto del movimento hippie.
